Errors and Fixes

Updated

This page records every substantive correction to an entry or to one of the site's fixed pages.

No corrections have been recorded as of 2026-10-30.

What gets recorded

A substantive revision is a change to what a page states: a fact, a number or unit, a source, a stimulus parameter, a credit line or a conclusion.

When a statement changes, every place that repeats it changes on the same day: the opening answer, the percept card, the page description, tables, CSV files and other pages that quote it.

The page's last substantive revision date moves to the day of the correction, so the date in its Cite this page block matches this record.

No page is changed silently. Records here are never deleted or rewritten; they accumulate.

How a record reads

Each correction gets one list item on this page and one list item in a Corrections section at the foot of the page it concerns, both dated the same day.

On this page, the date is followed by a link to the corrected page:

Correction (YYYY-MM-DD): {link to the page} — {original statement} → {corrected statement}. Reason: {one sentence}.

At the foot of the corrected page, the same sentence appears without the link:

Correction (YYYY-MM-DD): {original statement} → {corrected statement}. Reason: {one sentence}.

Reporting an error
